Nintendo Switch Sports no. 1 as PS5 stock surges – Games charts 7 May

Stock of the PS5 console is beginning to become more readily available but there’s still not much movement in the UK retail charts.

With no major new retail releases until at least the end of the month the UK sales charts are stuck in place, with the family friendly Nintendo Switch Sports and Lego Star Wars still on top.

A physical release for indie title Sifu is the only new entry in the top 10 but there has also been a lot of movement from increased stock of the PlayStation 5 console, with Horizon Forbidden West rising to number three.

April was the biggest month of the year so far for PlayStation 5 hardware sales, after several months of reduced stock, although they’re still down 51% on last year, since Sony prioritised having more for Christmas.
